Students are eligible to apply for the BP-ENDURE program if they meet the following criteria:
Be members of diverse group (as per NIH RFA MH-10-070), first-generation college students, economically disadvantaged, or have a documented disability
Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
Be committed to applying to a Ph.D. program in a neuroscience-related area
Be a college sophomore or junior
Be a permanent resident or US citizen

Personal statement PROMPTS. Talk about why you want to pursue a Ph.D. in neuroscience. Describing your career goals, research interests/experience, the type of neuroscience doctoral program to which you would like to apply, and any other helpful information for the admissions committee.
The Personal Statement must address the following 5 questions in less than 2 pages:
Why do you want to pursue graduate study in the Neurosciences?
What experiences have prepared you for graduate study in the Neurosciences?
Why are you applying to our program?
What unique life experiences, background, and characteristics set you apart?
Who would you like to work with at one of our partner institutions, and why?
Transcripts. Unofficial from home school and Official from transfer school.
2 letters of recommendation. Recommenders must send their reference letter directly to Kizzy Vazquez, our program coordinator, at [email protected] by January 31, 2025.
Deadline for personal statements and transcripts. is January 15, 2025 at 11:59PM.
