Yuval Guetta

Yuval graduated from Hunter College with a degree in Psychology with a Behavioral Neuroscience concentration.
She investigated the basal forebrain and its role within the fear extinction neural circuit at the Likhtik lab. Additionally, Yuval conducted research in Dr. Alan Lewis's laboratory at Vanderbilt University, identifying molecular and cellular changes within the hippocampus in mouse models of psychiatric disease. Yuval is pursuing a career as a physician-scientist and hopes to integrate translational neuroscience with psychiatric care. |
